Happy Friday! Michael & I are currently road-tripping it to Washington DC!
8-hr drive days with two little people in tow... its a party! Months ago, a friend of mine shared a video with me and it lit my heart on fire. It was an interview with Lou Engle sharing about an upcoming event called "Awaken the Dawn"! The inspiration was to usher in the presence of God, a procession of prayer and worship into Washington DC. 50+ tents, one for each state, taking OVER the national mall as men & women from all over the nation lift up 24/7 continuous prayer & worship! The 3-day weekend would culminate Monday Night in The Call Event: Rise Up. This last night was to specifically target the Women of America to RISE UP, and as Lou went on to say, "I believe some strongholds in the spirit can only be broken by women - abortion being one of them."
Two of our dear friends, (a Jesus-loving couple from Michigan!) are spearheading a petition that is literally circulating around the world right now! This petition is gathering signatures from a MILLION+ people, bolstering a case that is currently being developed to take to the Supreme Court, petitioning the overturning of Roe Vs. Wade. After 44 years of legalized bloodshed, the murder of almost SIXTY MILLION babies... it is time to RISE UP!!! This petition will be presented to the Supreme Court declaring that as a people, we do not accept legalized abortion and believe it to be a crime against humanity.
As Isaiah 60 describes,
"Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
See darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the LORD rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light
and kings to the brightness of your dawn."
Beloved, now is the time to wake up. Beloved, now is the time to Rise & Shine!!! Yes, darkness covers the earth, thick darkness covers the people but as scripture declares, it is in such a time as this that the GLORY OF THE LORD WILL RISE UPON YOU!!!
Now is not the time for "business as usual". Now is not the time to be concerned with building & storing and saving things on earth, rather, it is time to store up treasures in heaven!!! Our life on this side of Heaven is fleeting, our days are short, we are not promised tomorrow and yet we have access to populate heaven with souls! We possess the ability to store up treasure in heaven!
I encourage you to Sign the Petition and share it with your circle of people - both in conversation and on your social media sites. I encourage you to wake up and pray as Jesus admonished his friends to do in Matthew 26...

Friends, I encourage you to read the Bible, study Jesus' character, invite the Holy Spirit to daily guide you & submit to his process of making you like Christ!
